Effective Friday, February 2nd (this friday), Chexx Inc will no longer be processing checks to US customers.
As of now there is litterally no way other then the horrid epassporte to get your money off of online poker.
Stars, UB, AP, and FTP all use Chexxx Inc.
Sigh...
At least i feel strongly that my money is safe as long as its in Pstars.

On another shitty note, has anyone else noticed the INSANE increase of "good" players at lower limits?
Playing NL25 i try to find tables where the majority of the people are under the MAX BI, because i feel that means that they are weaker players. Lately, almost every table i open has 1-3 players with double BIs. This is quite rare for NL25, in my experienceIf everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.-John Lennon

easy solution. you're BR (or even a weeks wages) will be enough to buy yourself a nice little house in the St Anne's area of Nottingham, where you can play as much poker as you want. The added bonus is you will be motivated to make money quickly as your house will be burgled within a week.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

This is going really bad.
I hear no arguments why PokerStars should continue with the USA. Party made the tough decision.
I can really see that in three months your average American simply won't be able to get on any site.
The time zones will be difficult. I always said the Euro games were tougher - because there were (in the early days) fewer Euros playing. Now its going the otherway. By the time the USA is playing - most of Europe is in bed.. You'll just siphon off the USA fish (no access) leaving USA sharks playing each other.
I can even see a situation where Americans are using play money and taking "side bets" or staking artificially.
I hear some people are already selling/renting Euro accounts i.e sign up in the UK, then get keen, strong American players to play that account. - a bit dodgy but it can be done.See me playing $10/$20NL like it was play money

No, but I have noticed a reasonable amount of total donks still populating the mid limits. On another shitty note, has anyone else noticed the INSANE increase of "good" players at lower limits?
