i know very little bout the workings of the American political systems but will this bill actually have any likelihood of being voted on/getting discussed in the foreseeable future?

theres an almighty mess in Iraq to get out of, which im figuring is a major talking point currently in US politics; theres some kinda election thingy coming up and voting to "allow evil gambling" may not be something that a lot of politicians will want to be associated with coming up to an election.
