This was spooky, but funny at the same time. Long post but it's a long story!

The VC student poker qualifier freeroll, ~65 enter but as so often happens at VC freerolls loads of players aren't connected when the tourney starts so they get blinded out. The thing about this tourney was ~75% were disconnected and at the start only 2 of us were connected on the table. As you can imagine we want to build a stack so we begin "sharing" the blinds. During the next 25 hands or so I am dealt 10s,JJ, QQ (twice), KK and AA. I'm not making any extra money out of these (too obvious if I suddenly start playing at him) I take no notice and continue to build up with the blinds.

Then about 10 mins later a couple of people are moved to our table who are connected and we start playing some actual poker. A few hands later I am dealt AA and put in a raise only for the other guy (from the beginning) to reraise all in, I call and he shows KK, aces hold. I got a bit suspicious but put it down to coincidence.

Anyway I then get moved to another table, again just 1 other connected (table of 9). Again without mentioning it we set about sharing blinds (they were up to 50/100 so well worth having). I build up a nice stack and am huge chipleader at this stage. During this time (no more than 10 mins) I am dealt 99, 10s, JJ (twice) and KK (FOUR times). Again I can't win any more than the blinds! After a while we had everyone pretty much blinded off when a few new players get moved and we start playing poker again. "Get ready to be card dead" I say to myself. I proceeded to lose half the stack pushing 10s into A9 and losing. then i'm card-dead for the next 20mins or so (hardly saw a high card) and get slowly blinded and bullied into an M of about 5. I start the push-fold fun before AJ running into AQ and gg.

Very amusing but fucking weird! I think i've used up a fair bit of luck with blind stealing in a freeroll, fantastic!
