Default Why is everyone afraid of BOTS?

Surely if you suspect your playing a bot using pure maths to make it’s plays , you can easily beat it in the long run.

You can raise with any two cards and force it to fold any holding as long as raise enough to deny the bot the correct odds .

I think that once Identified any bot can be isolated and beaten.

I don’t if the above formula is sound or not maybe there’re some more sophisticated bot out there who can get around this short coming

You are basically correct. Another thing to consider when deling with bots and mathematical intimidaition is spamming. Everything in the link in your sig looks like bullshit.

So take in to the equation mathematical probabilities and your sig and you get a big pile of bullshit.

You win money in poker by making other make mistakes. If you make less mistakes then everyone else, you should be winning. What about a player that mathematically doesnt make mistakes?

Go try to play chess against a bot. As discussed on 2+2, when they first came out (chess bots) they were fairly easily beatable. Now they are bassically impossible.

In addition, most bots even learn from experience, the more hands they log, bassically the better they get.

Sure MOST bots are beatable/loosing players right now. Thats because NO ONE with a winning bot would be dumb enough to sell it or tell anyone about it. Its only a matter of time, however, where most bots will be winning in the long run.

I dont play min. bet poker tho so i dont care. I can deal with pushbot NL bots

What's a NL pushbot? I thought bots were only effective in the limit games? Great....

Pushbot = buying in very short to make decisions easy. Ie. AK with 10 bb's is a good situation to get it all in preflop.
