Ive been playing online the $100 max buy in cash games with blinds of 0.50/1.00. I was wondering what everyone preferred the tables with 9 to 10 players or the max table of 6. I understand the blinds come around quicker at a table of 6 but it seems like you can also follow the tables play better. Let me know what you think and reasoning. Thanks

6 vs 9 Players

personally i prefer 6max... easier to get reads on people... less chance of someone having your hand beat... seems like when i play 9 or 10 ppl tables its like someone ALWAYS has my hand beat... but 6max, by raising just a bit you are able to get the shittier hands out which gives you better odds.... just my opinion

I wont even get near full ring (9 or 10 max) enless its for a game like OH where the site doesnt have 6 MAX, like pstars.

I have a question for you guys, when its 9-handed and the first 3 players fold to you. Do you consider this the same as playing a 6-handed table? Or do you play looser or tighter then you would 6-handed.
Im just thinking about this because if the first 3 players fold that would have to increase the odds that the last 5 players will have a high PP. Or am I totally out to lunch here?"On a large enough time line, the survival rate of a Donk will drop to zero."

Didn't we just have this thread? Also, missing the blatant sex joke in the title... what have we become?

I pretty much never play full ring, it's just too boring in my oppinion... I started out playing full ring though and didn't really try 6-max the first six months.

I persoanly have made more money in shorthanded (limit) games,
but they require higher bankroll and more skills.
I would go to a full table if you don't have much experience (at least couple years of pokre)

i hardly play cash, but when i do
i prefer the 9/10 person ring game if its nl.
1) 3 more hands to see for free
2) sit back and only play premium hands
3) be aggressive when you hit the nuts, with 9/10 people, someone will surely look you up
4) i feel that there is too much aggression at the 6 person table, especially a lot of aggressive bluffers. if i don't have a good hand, i find its hard to call them down (even when i feel i'm ahead).
5) i feel like i'm getting blinded to death at the 6 also.f*cking it up for everyone else since 1969.
