I've been playing at Pokerstars for the last couple of months and quite recently I've been seeing some weird hands pop up. AA, KK, sets and flushes getting beat regularly. Nut flushes getting rivered by boats, Quads beating boats. Trips getting beaten by river straights. A lot of hands that the loser thinks they have the best hand and will throw in as much money as they can only to lose it.
Thats all just poker, yeah yeah, I know. But this has been happening more and more often lately. And by lately I mean after those new laws were passed in the USA. And while I'm not actually accusing pokerstars of anything I'm just going to mention some interesting facts.
The new law in America, once properly enforced, will restrict Americans from putting their money online and into the poker-site banks. Europeans, Canadians, Australians and all others can still deposit as much as they want. That means that there is a limit on how much money is held on the poker-sites by Americans that (according to the law) cannot be increased. But if the non-americans are given good hands, that they'll throw in a lot of money pre-flop and after, only to be beaten by a hand an American has, the American can still keep playing with the money they won, and the other guy can just buy back in. This way the total money keeps going up, as it did before the law.
It is in Pokerstars's (and other sites, I haven't done too much research on this) best interest to have Americans win hands and tournaments. This is not opinion; if Americans cannot buy-in to get more money online then eventually they'll all stop playing and pokerstars will have far fewer players, and they'll make less from buy-in fees and rake.
These companies are in it for one thing, the money. If it means they'll make more money by having their computers deal better hands to Americans then to all others why wouldn't they do it?

I think that is a reasonable point. Very unlikely they would rig the decks but any site which allows Americans to play and not redeposit would benefit from keeping American players alive.
I wouldn't play at any site which allows Americans to play and not redeposit simply because this means only winning American players will remain. If I can't take money from US Fish, I don't want US Pro's in my game either.
