Does anyone else find that the party software really bogs down their system? It's so bad that I can barely multitable 2 tables. I'm usually running PT and GT# at the same time and I know thats not helping but I do this with stars and can play 4 tables at a time without my system even being slightly effected.

Their server's extrememly laggy. It's pretty frustrating, but it doesn't really get in the way of what I'm doing too much. I'll have a bad half hour every 4-5 hour session where it's really bad, but that's it. Impossible to play a tourney with cash games, though. Cash games, the lagginess doesn't bother me as much because I'm doing other things anyway. I do other things during tournies, too, but the blinds catch up to you. That's why I think anyone who commits to their SnG's are smokin' crack.

Oh man, it drives me CRAZY. I like the layout, I like the competition and I like the game selection but I can't stand the lagginess.

I just found this on 2+2....
They're saying that it's the Monster Jackpot counter on the lobby that is causing the software to run like ass. They included a script to stop it.

Yeah 'cause it adds a ridiculous amount of more tables. It's stupid. I'm not playing any Party tournies 'til the Monster thing stops. I was playing a lot before that, but I'm sticking to cash there and not playing more than 3 tables. I'll use Stars for tournies and FTP for other cash games.
