    Default Poker Stars

I recently joined pokerstars. The first time I initiated the ps program a box popped up to click to update the program which I had to click to open the program. As soon as it downloaded my firewall tells me I have spyware on my computer (eZula Top Text). I run Adware, Avast, and Spybot, none of which detected the spyware, only my armor2net firewall caught it. I contacted PS which denied that their program was adding the spyware. So, following their instructions I uninstalled PS, ran all 3 of my protection programs and the firewall spyware cleaner. No spyware. I reinstalled PS from their link and the eZula top text spyware popped right back up. I again contacted PS and told them it was their program placing the spyware on my computer. Again they denied it. I would suggest anyone using PokerStars software check their computer for eZula top test spyware. You can remove it and still play but you must remove it everytime you initiate the PS program.
Also, I played in a tournament yesterday and every other winning hand seemed to be a full house, or four of a kind or flush, way beyond the normal odds for holdem. I was even dealt the same starting cards twice in a row. I think I will look into another site to spend my money with. Just thought you all should know.

He was being facetious. Being dealt the same hand twice in a row is not a big deal. It happens. I've gotten the same hand 4 out of 5 times in regular cards. It can happen.

Default How Poker Found Me and How I Fell In Love With It!

At the end of 2004, I had never even played poker before although I had seen my friends play a form of poker called Russian Poker or 13 card Poker and did not quite take to it as it was a live card game and not really convenient to learn for a quiet guy like me as I seldom socialised to play such card games. So it was the same with Mah Jong which was a popular and addictive game with the rest of my family.

To me it was just not my cup of tea! Then came an introduction to Online Poker through friends of mine about a site that boasted Hollywood Celebrities Vince van Patten (WPT Host) and James Woods (Shark) as their spokesmen with over 200 other Hollywood Celebrities with my favorites Kelly Hu, Dennis Quaid and Mimi Rogers joining in the fun at the tables! And I could learn the game playing the free games with players from all over the world from the comfort of my home! How wonderful was that!

I became quite good at the game and ventured to other sites as time went on but HollywoodPoker will remain as my favorite for introducing me to the "easy to learn and play but difficult to master" game of Poker due to the intrigue of combining psychology and skill plus luck that can enable almost anyone to win!
