You know the new WSOP season is coming when you start to see Peter Eastgate on ESPN more often than Lebron James or Alex Rodriguez. With a pared down schedule ESPN's 2009 WSOP coverage is No Limit Hold' Em heavy; and features two non-bracelet events???

Still in the Tuesday night time-slot, the WSOP (2009 style) will kick off with the $40k Commemorative Tournament. The 2-hour episode will run from 8-10pm.

The following week, August 4th, will feature the non-bracelet event The Champions Invitational which will pit former Main Event winners against one another.

August 11th will showcase another non-bracelet event The Ante-Up for Africa Tournament a celebrity filled charity tournament.

From August 18th until September 29th ESPN will bring its viewers Main Event coverage: From Day 1a right up to the final table.

Beginning on October 6th, ESPN will re-air the Main Event episodes at a slightly later time (9-11pm) leading up to its final table coverage on November 10th.
