About LinkBacksOne day down! Wes played day 1a of the Main Event and made it through with just under 30k in chips. The blinds will be 250/500 with a 50 chip ante, so Wes has about 24 orbits in his stack.
Wes will be playing today, and hopefully can get something going. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything else about his progress.

days 1a and 1b only played four levels instead of 5 like 1c and 1d, so when he started back up at noon today the first level was actually only 200/400/50.
i played day 1d yesterday and finished similarly, with a 29075 chipstack after starting the day with 30k. meh. the plan for tomorrow is to double up in the first orbit and then stack like 59 people.
