Default Poker's biggest names dominate the WSOP

It seems every time I check the chip counts, or the final table participants for a WSOP event I'm bombarded by a slew of the biggest names in the poker world.

It might be due to the exposure (or overexposure) of poker, which has given us 100's of well-known professional players; instead of the 20 or so big names that dominated the poker scene less than a decade ago --10 years ago naming 10 professional poker players would be like naming the starting lineup for the Kansas City Royals.

Just how well are the pros running this year?

-There have been 3 double bracelet winners -- and a handful of near-misses.

    - With 26 players left the $1,500 NLHE event features: Nam Le, Alex Jacob, and Brandon Cantu

    - The 10k PLO Championship has 43 remaining players that reads like a who's who of the poker world: Barry Greenstein, Howard Lederer, Josh Arieh, Vitaly Lunkin, Nenad Medic, David Williams, and Chau Giang to name a few.

    - Yesterday' bracelet winner, Jeff Lisandro, won his 2nd bracelet this year, and 3rd overall.

    - The Top 10 on the POY leader-board includes the aforementioned Lisandro, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and poker's second Triple Crown Winner Roland De Wolfe.

Clonie Gowen brought a suit against them (after she was let go as a sponsored pro) claiming the details of her contract were a 1% ownership in the site: In court her lawyer claimed this was worth $40 million

So, add two zeros to that and you get $4,000,000,000, or $4 billion!!!!!!!! So who needs the $10 mil for winnng the WSOP
