Wesley Whybrew AKA TightAggressive cashes in Event #9: $1,500 6-handed NLHE

Wes made his first deep run of the series, finishing in 82nd place in the 6-handed NLHE event, and grabbing his first WSOP ITM worth $3,664.
The tournament drew a very large field with 1,459 runners. Hopefully this is just a sign of more good things to come from PFO's favorite son at the WSOP.
Day 3 is set to kick off later today with 8 hopefuls vying for the title, and the $428,000 first prize. Charles Furey is the chip leader in what is a relatively unknown field. The tournament was supposed to play down to the final table yesterday, but it was another application of Rule 96 here at the 2009 World Series of Poker.
That's the rule that states that no Day 2 will be required to play past 3am unless the Day 3 is scheduled to be broadcast on television or the internet. Day 3 of this tournament does not fit that exception and so play has come to an end with eight players remaining.Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

When I grow up I want to be TA.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
