Celebrity Apprentice finale shocker: Rivers Vs. Duke

Annie Duke raised $400,000 for charity: Joan Rivers raised $100,000 for charity.

Annie Duke was instrumental in almost every challenge on the show, often taking the lead: Joan Rivers was absent for many challenges, and inconsequential when she was there.

This is an easy all-in call for a poker player to make; Annie Duke was 'Aces Full' on Celebrity Apprentice. Unfortunately, Duke got 'Cold Decked' and Rivers won Celebrity Apprentice, in a surprising decision.

'The Donald' decided that Rivers' team did a better job of branding in the final episode (apparently everything that took place up to the finale was disregarded).

The way the season unfolded it seemed Trump realized the Rivers girls were good for ratings, and while he had no problem cutting off Annie Duke when she was making a valid point, 'The Donald' saw fit to allow Joan and daughter Melissa to hurl insults, half-truths, and out and out lies in Duke's direction.

Anyone who watched any of the show knows who the best contestant was: Annie took a bad beat, but she's a poker player and should be able to shrug it off.

Very well put. It was a fiasco. Joan should never even have been in the final two, to begin with. She should of been fired along time ago. I have never liked Trump much but this show he really seemed to be more rued and arrogant then previous shows. He and Joan are of the same cloth. They try to portray class but their actions and words scream SLEAZE. They have no class.
I didn't like Annie's ego problem but with that aside she dominated the whole time and worked her butt off to do it. Oh well that is TV as usual, far from what should be and full of disappointment.

oh yes and don't forget that little miss trump Jr. Gave advice to Joan telling her she needed to get more people to the auction/party. This is what supposedly put Joan over the top for the win meeting 3 of the so called 5 criteria. Advice is not their duty they are suppose to observe when they visit the contestants on the task, and yet for some reason this "advice" (i say tip) was not repeated with Annie.
Yep setup from the get go for ratings. I like the way you said Annie got a bad beat. I agree, from a rigged show.
