Scotty Nguyen poised for a history making win at WPT Bellagio

With $10,330,840 in lifetime tournament winnings, Scotty Nguyen could surpass Jamie Gold (Gold won $12 million at the 2006 WSOP) as the all-time tournament money winner; if he can capture the $2,149,960 first prize at the WPT Championship.

Scotty enters the event as the chip leader with 5,880,000 chips; with 10 players remaining.

While some have criticized Scotty's behavior in the past, few can argue with his results. At his best Scotty is a colorful charachter, and one of the games biggest draws. Unfortunately, Scotty has a fine line when it comes to Corona'a, and if the line is crossed his table talk can turn to rude and insulting.

Hopefully, if Scotty does take down the WPT Championship he will keep his behavior in check and win with class.
