Bertrand “Elky” Grospillier has overcome a field 368 players with a prize pool of over $5.3m to take down the 2008 Festa al Lago at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
With a final table featuring names such as Nenad Medic, Nam Le & Joe Sebok, Elky eliminated all of the final 5 players to take down the $15k buyin event. In addition to strong results in the WCOOP and also APPT Macau Grospillier has now added a further $1.4m and a WPT title to his growing list of achievements.

Ultimate Bet's ongoing saga continues as the cutoff date for all payouts to players who lost money in the 'superuser' scandal get's closer. The date is set at the 3rd of November and there has so far been no indication of when UB will be issuing these refunds.
