Let me chime in. Neither of you is going to like it, but neither of you is at fault. I'm fairly active, in the trading forums, but this last weekend was just plain unbearable at
PokerStars. PS has always been fairly vigilant at 'observing' trades. If this is the first time you have ever transferred 200 to someone, hey, your account needs a manual approval for the transfer to go through. If you have transferred 100 in the past, and this transfer is for 100, you should expect it to sail through.
Until this last weekend. Sheesh. I've done single transfers of 3K, and turned on my cell phone, knowing they were going to call me, from PS. Within two minutes, the darn phone rang. Yes, it's fine, yes, I'm approved. Let's move on.
This last weekend was just a betch. Here's an email, that I sent PS, because they were hanging me up over SIXTY DOLLARS. The other fellow and I sat around, for a damn hour, from eleven pm to midnite. That trade was not approved, was not DIS approved, was not nothing, for over an hour. Then he sent, and then I sent, an email to PS. Within ten mins, it was approved. I truly hope this is not their new policy.
I have to tell you, it may be their new policy.
But I'm reading your thread, and I recommend both of your email
support@pokerstars.com, AND ADVISE THEM YOU'RE GOING TO BE DOING FOUR MORE TRANSFERS today.
Here's my email, from Sunday nite. VERY late sunday nite.
My transfer to XXXX was requsted at 1103PM, eastern US time. It's now midnite.
This is a sixty dollar transfer. Sixty dollars.
Both he and I have been sitting here, waiting for the approval of this transfer. For an hour. It's midnight, and we have to go to bed.
Please approve this at once.
What has changed this weekend? What new procedure results in this poor transfer performance, and who do I write to about it?
