Default Make a sticky for list of scammers?

I know this forum is buyer beware and w/e; but i think it would be a good idea to make a sticky of people who have scammed people on this forum.

There are a few reasons why we won't do this.

1. As you say, we are in no way responsible for the risks people take when they do a transfer. We recommend people do a trade with someone well known on the forum and they have to understand the risks of trading with an unknown. If in doubt, don't trade.
2. If we compile a list, it will take ALOT of work from the mods/kid.
3. People may be under the impression that anyone NOT on the list CAN be trusted. This could have things spiral out of control.
4. It's really not our place to oversee and babysit the trades. The guidelines of the forum clearly state this.
5. Alot of the time it is one persons word against the other. By posting a list of the "accused" we could quickly turn a childish accusation into a witch-hunt.

I would just urge people to be careful about who you trade with. Remember, this is the internet.

I have to recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

I know of one maintained by a Mod on another site, and I maintain one in a different forum.

Perhaps a sticky with a link to one or both lists, or incorporate the links into our existing trading guidelines.

If the mods here agree, I'll be happy to maintain one here according to whatever standards are deemed appropriate.
