Hey All!

I'm Scot's Lass and live in Jersey, Channel Islands.

I started playing poker about 3 years ago. Its one of my favourite things to do. I only play NH tournys. Mostly Sit n Go - $10-50, and have only started this year playing in larger player tournys both freeze outs and rebuys. I recently came 2nd in a 600+ player rebuy tourny which was actually very rewarding, felt like an achievement..it took HOURS! I played cash games when I first started playing but couldn't ever see me going back to them.

I have poker nights with mates sometimes for like £20 a game and generally win everytime or atleast get my buy in back with coming 2nd (usually cos I let them drink a skinful more than me and can totally read them )

My aim is to one day be able to go to a poker event. Hope I don't have too much of a wait before I can do this. Unfortunately none of my other female friends are interested in poker. There are poker nights in Hotels here in Jersey but I don't have the balls (literally!) to go being a single female. Its too much of a small place over here and I'd prob have everyones eyes on me playing, as it'd be seen as a novelty me being there. I'd be too nervous to try that here whereas elsewhere it'd be a different story.

I'm interested to know if many peeps on here have been to an actual event and what its like?

I just stick to Titan Poker now. Used to be on WillHill.
