Default Waving in a CCW fashion

    hey,

new to the site and out of the loop (online poker) for a bit. anyone care to help a minnow fatten himself on bigger fish? specifically, anyone care to shed some light on the legalities of a US citizen located abroad interested in getting back into action?

    thanks

Your options are pretty open as long as you remain outside the US.

You'll probably have to jump through a LOT of hoops to get things started, like in your other thread. A lot of US players are trying to fake that they live outside the US, using outside addresses and VPN's, so they've really tightened up the security.

I do know that the big two, Pokerstars and Fulltilt will allow you to play provided proof of residency.

    Sweet.

(Are my cheeks red, you having caught another post o mine!)

    3 more Qs then...

-Are PS and FTP on lockdown for everyone (assuming you'd like to cash out one day)?
-Is payout only in dollars/pounds? (ie Assuming I'd want a check sent, would I have to wait until I get back into the US to cash in?)
-Can you recommend any site that uses Paypal?

    Thanks!

-PS and FTP are only on lockdown to US players. Pokerstars is currently allowing US players to withdraw and Fulltilt is planning to as well.
-I dunno, considering people play all around the world I would think they would ways to pay anyone. I'd look into cashout policies for any site you're interested in.
-Gambling transactions are not allowed by Paypal, so not likely
