    Default Hi Everyone :D

    Hi Guys,
My name is matt, I am 28 years old from the UK.
I have been intrested in Online Poker for a while now and have realised all this time i thought i knew about poker, thinking i was an alright player... couldnt be any further from the truth! I AM A FISH... or an Ex-Fish!

So i have started reading a couple of books trying to gain as much information as i can, which has helped me a bit more in understanding the hands etc.
None the less with this small amount of information that i have taken on board so far i still lost my bankroll last night knowing i didnt have the best hand (Fishing Again)...
So i have signed up in hope of some friendly advice regarding play, bets, outs... the lot really
One thing im having a little trouble understanding is the outs & calculating odds... is there a guide for idiots?
    Also i like to play @ $02 - $05 if that helps.

Hello Matt.Well $02-$05 stakes in my opinion everyone seems to call 90% of time so its hard to say at that level. Try single table SNG's sit back and be patient .

Future reference, no limit games are reffered to 100 times the big blind. So when you say you play the 5 cent no limit, you are playing 5nl (.05 x 100).

I'm going to skim some books and do some reviews here soon, that way I can refer people to books that would help them best.

At 5nl, I have to say hardly anyone pays attention to anything else except their hand and the board cards, very few players are good enough to use exploitive strategy. Just play solid poker, make blind steals and cbets when appropriate, otherwise just focus on valuebetting to crush the stake.
