    Default Hey!

    Hey all,

My name is Ethan, living in Thailand at the moment, in Bangkok.

Haven't been playing poker seriously for very long, but I've got a lot of time to commit to it right now in my life, so, despite just being at 10NL right now I hope and expect to improve my game and move up, and then continue doing that as time goes on.

    Anyway...

    Yeah that's about it

    Welcome to the forum.

I am a micro stakes player as well. Ask me anything.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

Welcome to the forums, soi cowboy.
Well Thanks for the welcome, despite, seemingly, implying that I have a sexual preference for other men.

Haha...no. You misunderstood. Soi Cowboy is on Sukhumvit soi 23. It's a red light district in Bangkok that caters to men who like watching women dance...wikipedia told me so

    Anyway, welcome to PFO!

Yeah, I was thinking this was probably the case. Although usually wikipedia is a solid source of info for things, I guess in this case whoever wrote that was misinformed, or at least didn't have the whole picture. Although I believe there are straight people who hit up soi cowboy it's mostly known as a gay hangout/area. Nana and Patpong are better exampels of places where guys can go to watch pole dancers and ping pong shows.

I don't care, honestly, but as a heads up, despite what wiki might have said, if you go around calling straight guys soi cowboy, most of them, ones who have lived in Bangkok for any amount of time anyway, are going to think your saying their gay.

Sorry if it seems like I'm going off, I'm not, but I would suggest not going around calling most of the guys you meet soi cowboy, cause you will run into a lot of straight guys who won't be happy. Like I said just a heads up.

I've got no problems though, no hard feelings or anything,I understand completly

Once again thanks for the welcome

    All the best man

No worries. I guess I should just call you BF600 and move on!

Seriously though, I've heard a lot of great things about Thailand. I hope you enjoy the people and its culture.

    Regards,

Heh. Alright Well thanks. Yeah I've been enjoying it so far, people are alright, cultures not too bad, yeah it's been good.

Oh! And the food...I've heard that Thai food isn't too shabby as well...haha.
Foods alright, the women are better. Of course both are even better in China, but then again I'm not in China anymore, so I guess it's best to enjoy where you are, which I do.

    It's all good.

    Regards
