Doesn't appear to be too much activity in the intro forum...but I will give some background.
I started playing nickle, dime, quarter dealer call poker when I was 10 or so. I would go to my grandfather's poker games and fill in for people as they went to the bathroom or to get something to eat. Later on my grandfather started staking me for 50% of my profit...so I learned from mostly grizzled old WWII vets.
I kept that up through high school, college and through my adult life. When the hold-em boom hit I found a whole group of people who had, well, less than a good understanding of poker odds, and generally do well.
I backed off poker for a while, work, relationships, just got too busy but am now getting back into the game. I'm here as another step in filling some holes in my game that have developed over the years...primarily my discomfort for moving up in stakes. I take comfort in being the big fish in a little pond, and at some point I need to move on to a bit larger pond.

Welcome to the forum.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.
