I have enjoyed poker for quite a while, but have determined that I want to begin to elevate my skills. I am still playing mostly 'play money' on FullTilt and PokerStars (along with the Zynga Facebook Hold 'Em app). Hopefully I will feel confident enough to move to some real money games next year.
My main attention has been focused on Hold 'Em but would love to branch out and learn some other games as well.
I am scouring the Internet for betting strategies and other things to make me a better poker player.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. Hit me up on various social networks that I am on (just mention that you are on PokerForums and I will friend you!)

Hey, welcome to Poker Forums!
I started out as a huge 'Play Money' player too, and I have to tell you, once you get some real money online, you'll realize that you didn't learn anything useful. If you want to start playing other games, play money is great to learn the rules with, but as far as betting strategies, it's absolutely worthless. However, I know it can be hard to get yourself to make that first deposit. Make sure that you are playing the Freeroll tournaments mainly, and just doing play money casually. Freerolls are still waay more aggressive and loose at the beginning stages, but mid-late play can really improve your game. Plus, you have a chance to make money! I won a freeroll and played that up to about $7 without ever making a deposit.
And if you want any suggestions on other games to learn, Omaha and Razz can be pretty fun.
Anyway, welcome to forums!
