    Question hello there!

hey all! I'm 19, bin playing for about 3 years... only for fun until i hit 18 obviously :P
I play online NLH 6 seater ring games
I started with a minimum deposit of $25. Which i made into about $70 in a week or so and then busted and I did this about 3 or 4 time's due to a disgusting lack of bank roll management and game selection.

I stopped playing for money for a about 2 months and just did a lot of research. My next deposit of $25 turned into about $1300 at which point I quickly cashed out! (for clothes shopping) I exercised good bank roll management, playing in games i could afford and picking my opponents carefully. I always cash out at about 1k and almost always the full amount.

Now i want to build up a real bank roll and get involved in some of the bigger ring games, So I basically joined to try and improve my game as much as i can with help from all you guys n' gals on here!

Also any suggestions on good sites to play on and why?

if some of dosn't make sence, sorry my bad.
    The End.

Oh and im british U.K x

And also, Anything usfull about stats trackers would be great! As i dont use one and have no idea about them! Clueless

Welcome. What site you play now and what limit of 6max? Sounds like you're on the right track and learning brm will be key. Stick around, play close attention to to the better players (I'm not one of them) and post a few hands.

Good luck. Oh yea, sorry about being British

BTW all I often read with my BB but this is the first post with it

Well I play on PKR at the moment, but I have heard that full tilt is the place to be! Well as i say I've always deposited the min $25 and moved up from micro stakes according to my bank roll and then cashed out when I fancied a spending spree! :P
Highest stakes I have played are $100 max which I hold my own quite well in, bit of a stretch on my bank roll though. I am better at 6 seater SnG tournys & MTT's then i am in ring games, but the money is quicker & most the time easyer in ring games... So I tend to play them more often. thanx for the reply! =)

P.s No need to opoligise its not your fault, cant blame everything on the yanks can I

since ur part of our select group of people who dont live in the "land of the free", u are obviously allowed to play at sites other than Stars and FTP. There are a lot of fishier sites than those out there available to non-americans, e.g. Ongame and iPoker network. You could also look into bonus whoring at both those networks before settling on one that you like most.

You should look into the bonuses available and also any opportunities for rakeback before you sign up at any site.
For the best rakeback rates, greatest choice of poker rooms, more promotions, tournaments and bigger $$$ freerolls than any other rakeback affiliate, visit RakeTheRake, one of the largest and most reputable poker rakeback affiliates in the world.

    Get constant bonuses and superb customer support at RedKings. (Non-US only){its rigged for me but prob not u}

Thanks for the reply! Bonus whoring sounds like time well spent... My knowledge of online poker rooms and taking advantage of the bonus's and other things is quite limited, I've been a bit sheltered to PKR! :\
But I'll defo be looking into the mentioned networks and bonus's etc... Cheers =)

What do you think of PKR? I'm not to interested in the look of it and as the 3D effect is it's major draw in I've avoided it.

However if it draws a huge ammount of fish (i get a feeling it might) and has good support no lag and plenty of games / bonus rewards then I might put it on the list of extra sites to join.

PKR is great to play on for weak/recreational players as serious grinders don't play there as they can only play 4 tables max.

Second, because of the computer game/animation side of things, players tend to be more focused on how to make their avatars say "up yours" than worry about your timing tells.

Do you have rake back on PKR? If you make the move to Full Tilt just make sure you get rakeback, a lot of players don't know about it still and it'll make a huge difference to your win rate...

    Good Luck
