cracking aa in the blind
playing at work, the usual drunken nlhe ring game.
getting close to calling it a night i decide i have a good read on everyone and play my hand blind. no one notices and i push my stack around to some weak limpers and take the pot. "Wow, you didn't even make me look at my hand" and i throw them in without looking.
the very next hand, my boss anounces that this is his last hand. he raises pre flop in the blind $2. i imidiately follow with a $4 raise in the blind. player behind me reraises $5 onto of the six already bet. i ask if he looked at his cards and he replied no. generally i tend not to believe a word he ever says so he has me a lil worried. next 3 fold, sb calls $2 all in. my boss gets worried and takes a look at his cards and folds. knowing the raiser to generally be full of shit, i look past the worry and call the $5. flop comes k q 2. without thinking i grab my stack and push all in approx $23 and change. player calls. we show cards. he fips over a a and my heart sinks. i flip over 2 2 and my heart is racing now. 4th st is k, river j.
omg i can't believe i cracked his aces in the blind. crazy roller coaster ride.
i don't usually play this crazy but the people i play with at work are some of the bluffingest fools i've ever played with. i wouldn't of been surprised if he had 3 4 as opposed to a a.
