i have no respect for you anymore because this is 100% bullshit that you are bragging about. you are not the greatest player in the world. if this was 5/10 nl would you have called an $1100 bet on the river with the ace high because you knew 100% he was bluffing?

i actually think that you are one of the fish that people on this site make money off of.

hmm...i certainly understand what everyone else is saying here, and i agree with all of you. however, i DO understand what Chief is talking about, when you "just know". I don't make calls like this very often, but when I do, I win them 90% of the time. Occasionally I am wrong, but sometimes, due to betting patterns and whatnot, i unconciously get a feeling that my ace is good...

I play over 5,000 hands a day, and over 35,000 hands a week, thats over 140k hands a month, I dont make calls like this often or even daily but when I do Im 99% right Because I can just tell what people are thinking or I can spot a pure bluff by betting pattern's.

You can say you "I Have No respect for You" Doesnt matter You never had any for me because 4 me because I never earned it, I fint it funny tho on every hand History I post (Besides this 1 It was 1st hand) I have atleast
25%+ The buy in every table. Im a daily winner, I suggest you come to absolute poker and sit down at a NL Table, I been playing absolute poker for 2 weeks and have already made a name for myself in the smaller stakes Nl tables.

I turned 10$ won on a freeroll into a 970$ Bank Roll in 2weeks. I must be 1 lucky fish.

I post hands like this to show nice calls, but instead I get called a fish for doing something nobody else will do, yet Im A constant winner when doing so.

Calling stations are not daily winners, and that's the point. In both of the threads, you effectively slowplayed a hand that could easily have been either behind or outdrawn. If, as you say, you knew you were ahead, you should have been betting to protect your hand. By just calling with vulnerable hands, you gave your opponent infinite pot odds to beat you. It worked out both times, but it's not a good long-term strategy.

Also, you never explain your reads, so it's hard for the rest of us to know whether you're a genius or not. These were internet games. There were no physical tells for you to decipher. All you had was your observations of these opponents' betting patterns over the course of time that you played with them. You would get more credit for making great plays if you explained how you came to the conclusions that your hands were best. Otherwise, your play just looks reckless.

But it was NOT a nice call. You were extremely lucky. I'm glad MXP posted that link because I was going to do so also.

How The hell was I lucky? I knew what he had, Im like Stu Unger when he called with 7 high, Was he lucky? I dont think so.

After I get email, from hand history I will post the hand I just played, when I called a all in with Ace* high on flop.

So Im just Lucky 100% of the time?

Lets do some simple math, Lets say we did the same hand 1000 Times

A/Q - Me
K/2 Bluffer

and say the flop is 6/6/3 1000 times in a row, and he bluffs at it 1000 times and I call his bets 1000 times, In the long run Im a huge winner, I knew he had nothing, I didnt guess or try to get lucky, I Just knew it, and when you know you know.

Before I made call, I typed in chat Box, " I know I have the best hand but lets prey I dont get outdrawn"

I had him Ace weak Kicker or K/Q, Like I said before I Knew he had nothing

I need someone to explain it to me? Im just the luckiest guy in the world? or maybe Just maybe, I have reads/instinct like Hellmuth?

The other day on a WsOp Circuit event, Joe Cassidy called off all his chips with Ace High, Was he just fishing? Or did he know he had the best hand?

Im assuming it's only a good call when a professional does it.

Default nice thread

actually I thgink this is a good thread because it's getting some discussion going:

I know some of us here have seen this a lot. Someone riding variance.. having a good run of hands. In some respects it narks the die hards to see a ppl do so well.

What separates ppl like Marm, Be, Steve-o and most of the regulars here is that we know how to lose. Any idiot can win with good cards what you've yet to experience is a serious downturn. Aces cracked five times in a row... set over set for 2000 hands - the grind of minimising losses. 10 SnGs without getting into the money. Someone 'bluffing' who actually does have a PP....BR coming close to being compromised.. having to move down limits...

We also know how a run of wins can give you confidence beyond your capabilities.. The last three MTT's (>100 ppl) I've top tabled-- maybe I should buy directly in WSOP this year.. but there again- maybe not -I know the math..
