Default Laying the perfect trap.

Down to 4 players, and the guy to my left is the CL. I try to limp in the SB a few times when its just down to us, but everytime he raised 3-4BB. I made a mental note of this, and kept playing. He lost half his stack, and I limped in the SB when it was folded to me a few times (not intending to see the flop), and he would go all-in, and I would fold. I now had a bigger chip stack than he did, and I was hoping my patience would pay off when this hand came up.

It didn't get as much money as I had hoped (b/c he had been CL), but it did move me into the money where I eventually got 2nd. It was just nice for a mental note to actually pay off. Remember, this was a VERY obvious steal bet that he was making, so I just kept completing the SB just to draw him in. I even made a note on him so next time I might be able to do the same thing.

Good play. Certainly not what you want to do all the time, but good here.

very nice trap...

Some poeples realy overreact VS a sign of weakness.

I put GLAI in notes for them.

It means for me that they treat a sign of weaknees as a Green Light At Indy (GLAI). (took that from another player)

I remeber a guy I checked raise on all streets with top set and FH on the river.
He finaly figured I had him beat OTR after he puts 75% of his stack in!!!

I stil play him sometimes, and he have'nt change a yota... cant figure how he wins... cause most of the time I see him he is up.

ah yes...theres nothing more statisfying than when some guy whose been forcing you out hand after hand does it one time too many...espicially when its the sort of idiot who goes all in for 10x the pot every hand
