I called a guys all in on the river in a SnG with just K-high.

I was about to fold when I realized he had missed all his draws and was bluffing at it.

Hard to tell whether you made a great read or were just crazy. If you had been playing with this guy for a while and picked up something about his betting patterns that you applied and made you conclude that this flop missed him, then I'd say "great read." Anything else, and I'd say you were kind of reckless and bet an awful lot of money to protect the quarter you invested from out-of-position to see if the flop mugged your King-rag. Instinct is great, but I think you win more and lose less when your instincts are corroborated by what you've observed your opponent do before.

I called 18$ on the river with 4 cards to a straight and flush possiblity, I think its save to say I had a great read, if I wasnt 100% sure I had him beat theres no way Im calling that river so much can beat me, basically the only hand I can beat is a total bluff.

My tell on this guy was everytime he was bluffing he would raise within a split second of a Check/Fold.

So then you did have information on this guy that you applied correctly. To me, that's a read, and I agree that you made a good one.

How em I idiot, for making a great call, if your going to say something like this you need to explain yourself.

I take pride in using my reads to make calls like this, that do not only take trust in my reads but complete balls to make the call.

I believe your only calling me an Idiot because you dont have the balls to make a call like that, what I did was not stupid just a great read with a great call.

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but just calling me an idiot without any reason or information only makes you the true idiot.

I don't really like the call. First off, i would be very hesitant about flat calling the $2 on the flop after a bet and a raise. Also, you will probably have to call more bets on the turn and river. So right from the start you are commiting too much money with a very marginal hand that could easily be beat. Same with the turn. Building big pots with tpmk is not usually a good idea.

The river, well i guess you had a read, but i would still advise against this call. His betting pattern shows some strength, i don't know what i would do on the river but i defintily think in the long run it is a good idea to get rid of this hand earlier. This is online poker, your not familiar with your oponents. The next two times this happens you could easily be beat and lose a huge pot with a mediocre hand.

Don't want to be an ass, but this kind of looks like a random call that got lucky. What's your "read" again?

This guy was a bluffing machine, my read was everytime he was bluffing he would bet within a split second of the flop/turn/river, he didnt even have enough time to see the card before he was already betting.

I stay in hands when I think I the best of it, size of bets and raises dont scare me, I know when I got and when I dont.
