im curious what were you thinking on each street? did you try to put him on a hand or within a range? do you put all your tells on how quickly a player makes his actions? Sometimes I click the auto buttons for autocheck/call and auto check/fold and sometimes I can't come to a screen for a few seconds.

sometimes the bluffers get lucky even. i'd say the river call is -EV.

while I dont really like Chief's play either, this was not posted in the strategy forum, he was not looking for advice. It was a brag thread, and he was asking if we had any similar hands.

yes i am an asshole at times (many times)

if I make a river call getting 7:1 and I'm only good 10% of the time, and I end up winning. Sure, it's a -EV play what I did and I did catch a guy bluffing. I'm not going to say oh look I had an incredible read on the guy.

like you said the only hand you beat was a completel bluff and I'm just saying that calling down the maniac with your 22 on the 89TJQ board might not be a great idea.
