OK, Until I found these (and HU) I have never been a fan of SNG's, just don't me. Well, I think I found my niche. I love these, cause you can pay a whole bunch of different styles throughout the game (its 9 handed 3 different times, and SH 3 times), and the buy-in to payout ratio is pretty nifty. 4th and 5th pay decent enough, c 2x each, and 1-3 pay 5x to 10x. Well I have been pretty successfull so far in them. I Havent played a lot of them, just I am feelign very confident in them, and I dont want to hear any comments about variance, it'll burst my bubble. You guys wil understand now why I was pissed when they started the $1 5 tables, took alot of the fish out of the 3 tables.
Events: 22
ITM: 45.45% (yeah that would rock for a 1 table SNG)
ROI: 122.32%
AVG finish: 10.5
And they take about 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 hours each, so they arent that bad of a time commitment. And Im especially liking my WR when it gets HU![]()

Yeah well it gets worse,
Event 24: 3/27, ROI: 130%, ITM 50%
If I can sustain even a 30% ITM 75% ROI, Id be estatic.Luck is a Residue of Design.

Very impressive... what's your total ROI overall?
I think a sample of 200 is suitable to prove you can do it long term. When I did my SnG tracking of the $30 SnG's, My ROI was like 60% for the first 30-40 games.. then it slid down to 40%.. then 30%.. then after like 140 games I think I was only around 28% or so..
What's cool is that if you CAN sustain this, you can move up to the $10 3-tables...

But I don't wanna move up.... the 5's are so soft and cushy......
My overall ROI aint so hot... lotsa non finishes in $1 big MTT's.. , its like 15-20%. can't seem to commit myself ot the long term in those things... these 5 tables are awesome.. bout 90 minutes to play, MTT thought process, but cash is close... and its the same idiots who dump out erly in the $1's...and there's 7 stages int he events which allows player to change gears quickly. 1) Full table with 27 players, 2) SH table with 19-22 players, 3) Full table with 18 players, 4) Sh with 10-14, 5) Full with 9 6) Bubble play, then 7) SH final ITM
hmm didnt even know they had $10's....Luck is a Residue of Design.

Two things happen there, first I usually play for 5th, then 3rd, then first, hence the greater number of those finishes. If I'm on short and resign myself to squeaking into one of the two bubbles (5th or 3rd, drastic pay increase 4th to 3rd), then thats what happens, I make that teir, then I go drastic and get busted out. Usually though I am CL (or close to it) when we get down to nine, so I can cruise, picking up the ocasional pot, and then getting aggro when we get down to 6. I usually then end up with >50% of the chips by the time we're down to 4, so when he get to HU, and i got 70%+, its already been decided.
I know that sounds kinda pompous, but thats whats been happening.Luck is a Residue of Design.
