well, kinda. I have a friend who just likes to play for fun. He has asked me to join a heads up cash table with him and for me to lose 300 bucks to him on purpose, and he will give me $300 cash. Any thoughts on this?

If/When it shuts down it wont be much fun . Also , they are selling 10c to the dollar on 2p2 . Your price is a bit high for "fun money" .

Money on AP may just be fun money after all.

It's not my price, that's how much he wants. It was all his idea. Also I was thinking the same thing about AP maybe shutting down. So I would rather get $300 now, and at least have that, then risk losing it all if they do shut down.

Did you get your money out eventually ? I had a couple hundred left and managed to cash in a few tournaments (good overlay) , more of a beat than brag since none of my payouts were processed .

Other then the $300 I let my friend "win" off me, I have yet to get any more money off AP, or FT for that matter. I too made a couple final tables on AP in some tourneys with good overlay. I'm hoping it will be some time this summer when we can get the money off the accounts. I'm sure we will be able to cashout from both sites in due time, I just hope it's sooner then later.

You're being quite optimistic considering.

Considering what? Both sites are still open to non-us players. Full tilt is still making hella money. They have between 20k-50k ppl at any given time. AP has between 8K-10K in prime time hours, and according to both sites they are working as fast as possible to get US players paid out. Until they are shut down or say that they can't pay us, why not be optimistic?
