Haven't been playing as much poker recently, but i returned yesterday to play a nice 15k freeroll yesterday, exclusive for new signups with a few VPPs last month.

Turns out my MTT-performance is still a lot better than my cashgame/sng play. I finished 7th in a field of 1977 players, giving me a sunday million ticket.

Since i normally play 1$ tournaments, this is kind of a big deal for me. Lets see how good these world champions really are.

The payout was cash for 1st-4th place (450, 600, 750, 1000 i think), sunday million ticket for 5-50 (worth 215$), 11$ tournament ticket for 51-260 or so.

Feels stupid to bust in 7th place, but i believe i played the last hand correctly. I had a tight image, a preflop raise under the gun, and shoved with 14 outs. A guy called with middle-pair, and i missed.

Min-cashing in the tournament would multiply my bankroll by a factor of 6.

I think this is the textbook definition of "playing outside your league"

I also feel it is better to play free games, especially online poker, it is a great mind game. full of tactics, informations, skills and so on
