Still trying to learn to play cash games online. I think I had a rather successful 255 hand session.
After 154 hands I was down 73BB
Then on the 155th hand this happened.

Thats dam good man!
see just gotta be patient. I don't like your AK call....Muck made a HUGE raise when you had QQ. I wouldn't have had the balls to call that, props

Thanks. I just hope I can keep playing cash and not lose my BR. I figured since all the money I have on NBB is from freerolls anyways, I might as well use it to try and learn to play online cash tables.
Muck is a huge fish. I have watched him play at the 2nl and 4nl tables. A couple hands before my QQ, he bluffed away half his stack holding 8 high against another players full house. So I was sure I was good there.
I loved the AK call on the river, but preflop when he reraised and there was already 1 caller, it was a little iffy.Last edited by Ipokergood; 02-28-2011 at 12:14 PM.

Just to let you know, calling down with Ace high isn't profitable
JUST SAYIN'! If you really think you have them beat, raise them.

Well I wasn't 100% sure, but when he only bet .10 on the turn I was like lol. I probably should have raised there, but again since I wasn't sure I had to just call. Damn sure wasn't folding to .10, ha. Then the $1 bet on the river, I felt if anything it was worth the information to just call and see his hand.

I agree that the AK call is something I dont know if I could do, but it was a good thing that you called. I suppose knowing about that big bluff would help me understand though.
Props

Nothing feels better than calling someone down with AK and taking his money.

AK hand.
You need 15.2% equity against his range to make a river call...Really, what hands are he representing here? Turn+River action is such a desperate attempt to steal the pot.

Well I put him on 1 of 3 hands after the turn bet of 10 cents. 55, AQ, or AK.
Obviously 55 had me beat but I figured I had to call the river to at least see what he had.
