on Pokerstars i played the Turbo Takedown satelite of 60FPP with 100 person, 6 max.
I won that and made my way through to the Turbo Takedown tournament last night at 20:30, started off a bit rough with my AA being crushed etc, eventualy made my way up to 75K chips and continued to beat people without bullying too much...
Made it for 5 and 1/2 hours untill it was down to less than 200 people out of 17,500...
People were starting to bust out very slowly now and i had about 200K in chips, average was about 150K.
Someone raises me and i re raise sitting with AQ sutied, he shuvs for 150K and i call with AQ knowing he is a lucky fish, he shows 9 10, and flop comes with his 9 10. Im thinking okay its all over for me now with only 50K left...
So i start to just sit there not playing poker, just letting my hands time out every single time as i know the cash prize is a lot different for another 50 people...
so i wait and 100 people get bust out and i eventualy finish in 135th place
cashing in $500.... the most i ever cashed is $10 in a single tournament. not bad i think![]()

I think you will find your answer here
Every time money is converted from one currency to another, it has to pass through an exchange rate so that you get an equal value of the currency you are converting to. For example, if the exchange rate for British Pounds into American Dollars is 0.5, you will need £0.5 for $1 (which works out as $2 for every £1).
This ensures that you get the correct amount for all of your converted currency, as it will be of the same monetary value. Furthermore, when you wish to convert back into your original currency, an inverse exchange rate will be used so that you should have the money converted back across a similar rate.
However, there is one factor that has not been included so far, which is the fact that exchange rates are constantly changing from day to day. Exchange rates are affected by the economical health of a country, which is influenced by factors such as employment and number of exports.

Not sure about stars , but if you play in different currency you are losing a few cents on each addon/rebuy and is not a smart choice for someone on the microstakes . There was a thread on another forum about this with more details (just google it) .
