    Default First light 4-bet

    NL20; 100BB~ stacks, 5-handed.

Button opens for $.8, SB 3bets to $3. This had happened three times in 30m so I made it $7.2 with 64o and took it down.

    Brag: I'm Phil Ivey
    Beat: $3.80 pot

Considering I've played like 100k hands of NL50 and below and this is the only one I've ever done it's clearly not something I make a habit of.

You have nothing invested therefore need to make it bigger, you have double the oposition who could actually have a hand.
Then again I'm folding AK to this all day, cos cold 4bets = the nuts.

It's more likely someone plays back at you since there's 2 of them you're up against.

But it's very history dependent, I don't know how any of them react to 3bets/4bets etc.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

In the bigger games cold 4 bet bluffing is freaking awesome (only when used in extreme moderation ldo). At these stakes I just don't see it getting through often enough.

Simply make the plays that you know beat these limits, no need to induce higher variance, yet!

I think people are far more likely to fold TT or AK to a cold 4bet at No50 than they are at NL1000.

On the converse the 3better at Nl50 is generally also less likely to have a mre narrow range than an average 3better at NL1000.

    Pretty close I guess.
