Well gutted! Got my first ever quads! Dealt 55 in late position, one guy raises, after a small ponder I call, next guy reraises, I call again only to hit 556 in the flop!!! Nearly wet me pants!! So, how do I play it...? Both guys check dont they so Im thinking now there cards aint looking so good. I bet minimum, they both call. After the turn they both check again, I bet twice BB.....they folded....DOH! Didnt get to show off my hand! Unfortunately only finished 3rd as 2000 chips were gobbled by massive blinds when receiving 72o and similar

Theres' a saying NLHE - 'quads dry the pack'. If you think about it you'r really looking for a flush or trip to hit - and this is unlikely.

Yesterday I slowplayed KK into a very short stack. 22K fell on the flop and I looked at dismay at the $5 he had left. I got an all in on the turn and he flipped over 22 for quads...lol. I had $80 in my stack and it would have all been his.... let this be a warning to you

Check behind them to see what they'll do on the turn or bet a bit more than the pot to look like a bully.

I would have choose the sedond option considering they both raise and reraise proeflop...

However, they were obviously raising and reraising preflop with nothing!?!? Soo, maybe nothing would have worked... or they are both super reader and they saw you was trying to bring them in your trap!?!? Nope... I think they are just stupid dummies...

After they both checked on the turn I'm thinking I have already extracted all the chips possible from this hand by standard means so I'd push all-in at that point. The odds of a call here are very low but given the opportunity, dreamers, chasers and skeptics will sometimes make the big mistake and pay you off.
