Last Sunday in ran the Hamburg Olympus Marathon 2005. Over 20,000 people ran, I placed 189th (1st American), with a time of 2:49:06. Here are some photos of me:

Up next is a 10k on 7 May in a little town a few miles away from Trier, by the looks of it I should be able to win (a "valuable Sack Prize"). Then on 22 May, I'm running in the Trier Half marathon, my goal is to place in the top 8 (100 € prize) it should be a little tougher but I think I can do it.

I am playing in a poker tournament this coming Monday, wish me luck.

Unfortuneatly one finished 37 seconds ahead of me, had I not fallen apart the last 10 km I would have whooped that fecking frog.

It usually depends on the race, what type of prize you get. for example the half marathon in trier is a pretty important race so the winner will get around 400 € and eighth will get 100 €, the other race that I mentioned is a real small thing with only a hand full of people running so its not surprising that only a sack prize will be awarded (probably some wine, food and maybe a gift certificate), plus it only costs 5 € to run, the trier half marathon, will attract more than a thousand or so with a 15 € entry fee.

LOL @ Kid, I take took many bad beats to feel sorry when I give one.
