Thanks for the info Steve-o. What I meant about going from online to live is that the last I read from you, you were playing online and making about $1k a week. Then the next thing I read you were at Foxwoods so I was wondering what was up with the transition. Online seemed to be going well, so why switch back to live ring play.

I live in Braintree...I've never heard of the Ashley Adams games.

Even when i play online i still play live a couple times of week, honestly i think online poker limits many of your advantages but also offers some other advantages (more hands per hour, multitabling, notetaking, convenience, etc) that live poker does not. I equate it to the rounders line of wiffleball, online is wiffleball. Give me a live game anyday, I play online mainly for convenience

Nice work, Steve. I only made $30k in a month once and that's because I made $21k in a tournament that month.

Good that you don't fret over the 2k, but I agree with Beav in the most serious manner that I could. If you're willing to put 2k at risk at the blackjack, go get your knob polished, hit a strip joint, or take someone out to dinner. You'll get a better "return" on your investment there.

blackjack is popular for a reason, its FUN! I can't believe none of you play it

can't go through life without enjoyment, i usually play blackjack once evry 3 or 4 trips at least for an hour to unwind and have fun. In vegas I usually never play poker just blackjack, don't forget I've mentioned I have a photographic memory

I used to play blackjack everytime I went to the casino while I was waiting for a table, but there are beautiful women walking around, interesting good players waiting for tables as well to shoot the shit with, and of course the beautiful women walking around. I enjoy hamming it up as a "known local player." It works very heavily to my advantage.

+EV, to say the least and a lot more fun than blackjack. I still like blackjack a lot, but I like women and "old school Chicago guys." (You gotta say that with a Chicago accent to make sense, I guess.)
