Ok Redkings, I forgive you
After losing horribly with my AA to a river card I decided to blow off some steam and pass the time waiting for a session with Wota by jumping into one of Redkings Madtiltallin sng's. All out donkfest 60 chips to start with blinds at 10-20.
My turn to suckout on rivers, I think I won about 4 hands on the river from being behind and ended up winning a nice $20 prize, not bad for a $2+20 10 man sng and 5 mins work!
Then after the session I played a few hands of NL10 and this hand came up against a 75vpip donk. I probably shouldnt have called because he hadnt really ever raised PF before this point so it should have been pretty obvious he had pockets.
I ended up calling anyway guessing his shoving range to be and pocket pair or at least 99+. Maybe I was still a little tilty after the AA hand too who knows.

You're right, this is a fold.
Glad to see you're winning

I'd call that.
EDIT: unless you have like 200+ hands on the guy and he hasn't raised any of them yet.

JHarding are you joking or serious? 5 handed I think I need a read to fold QQ here rather than a read not to.
If someone is "tricky" enough to limp with AA/KK 3rd into the pot and then shove all in I will give them my $9.70.
I would estimate his hand to be in the 77-TT range more often than not and couldn't rule out even weakish aces.
If hes limped UTG I would give him some degree more credit and agree AA/KK is part of his range, however overbet shoving like this I would then think it is more likely Ax or any pair.

ive just been talking to JH and he has re-evaluated his initial stance of saying that this was a fold pf.....he now says that it was played sorta ok but he would have raised it to 62c.
apart from that, he reckons it was played fine.

I was contemplating the fold simply because the guy hadnt raised pf for about 45 hands. Not a huge sample by any means but still, someone that passive shoving here should have screamed alarm bells at me.
I still decided that his range was big enough that a call was ok. Against my initial guess of 99+ I have 56% equity so going purely by that it's a call, and if his shoving range is bigger than that then I am even better than that. Also I think Wota is right, someone this passive is probably going to try and slow play his A's not shove with them pf

Loose donks at this limit who are shoving all-in PF against a normal/decent raise almost always have a low-mid pocket pair because they believe you have AJ-AK. At least that's what I've observed.
