Default It is immoral...

The guy at question had been tossing in huge bets since coming to the table, had shown down some real garbage, and basically made it obvious that it was only a matter of time. I had position on him, so I was drooling hoping for a chance to isolate and attack...this wasn't quite how I foresaw it happening, but it worked.

$50 NLHE, blinds 0.25/0.50
Shade5770: $78.25
Target: $73.50 (name changed to protect the oblivious)

In the big blind I get dealt

Six folds around to Target who raises to $2 from the small blind. Normally this would be a fold, but given the nature of the person I'm willing to gamble and call.

Flop

Bingo, we have a big blind lottery winner!! Check...check. If he's bet $20 on J5o, surely he's going to pull the trigger at some point, right?

Turn

Please god let him have a club. Check (crap!)...check.

River

Check (He chooses now to discover the meaning of the word restraint???)...now, normally I'd throw out a token bet here in the hope of just getting SOMETHING out of this situation, but I just had a hunch and pushed all-in hoping Caro's Second (I think) Law -- "Your opponents are looking for reasons to call" -- would hold true.

Bingo...Target calls (thankyouthankyouthankyou!!). $144 pot after the rake...life is good. My second-largest online pot ever I think.

And would you believe he called me an asshole just before leaving the table?

There was a hand posted on 2+2 when some flopped the wheel str8 flush and after a guy bet into him for a healthy amount on the flop, he called, but the guy checked the turn and I said to check the turn and go all in on the river because you'll get called enough to maximize in the long run. The bigger the river bet after no action on the turn, the more people think you're bluffing.

Very nice hand. You have to push it in on the river. I love it.

I don't know what's funnier? The fact that Beav said this ^^ ( Ican picture Beav saying out loud to himslef..), or the fact he called...I think the fact he called is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay funnier, lets celebrate!

Here's a great hand that I witnessed. I've never seen it before for this much money, but this guy was calling and calling and calling. It was a great hand to watch.
