Push with an M of 8, isnt that like too much

I calculated your M the way HoH2 says
Antes: 7*300 = 2100
SB = 1200
BB = 2400
Total per orbit = 5700

46520/5700 = 8.1614

Of course, your effective M is slightly lower (7 players on 9-max table)
eM = 8.1614 * .78 = 6.3477.

I think that pushing is better given that:
A. You have the 2nd smallest stack at the table.
B. The pot is currently 8100 (a little more than 1/6 of your stack).
C. There is a limper who might call your push.

If the blinds were close to going up, then pushing is def. better.

Mattobie's argument was slightly off. With 8100 in the pot and a raise to 6400, there was 14500 in the pot for BB. So BB got 3.6 to 1 on his call and UTG got 4.6 to 1.

So if you aren't pushing, what about raising it to 9600 (4xBB)? BB is getting about 2.5 to 1 on his call.
