Default How to get paid with royal flush?

Answer: Not like this.

Posted here rather in RR because I feel I in fact won this hand. He tanked for so long on turn before checking to me that I knew the T of spades helped him somehow.

Sucks that you couldn't be up against someone with QQ.

Best HH converter ever, btw.

And checking the river was silly. If you were so sure that helped him, bet the river, he'd raise, no?

You are reading the hand history wrong. I am the one with A8, and knew I was beat by the time it was checked to me. I am bragging because I didn't lose a dollar more than I had to. There was no way my opponent was going to get paid in this hand, but of course he should have value bet the river. And he should have bet the turn.

The cake poker software gives all its hand histories in this format.

Oh, hahaha. My bad. I assumed that you were in GC because you had the Royal.

Now I look like a twat.

He probably took ages on the turn because he was leaping around the room.
