I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

As I state quite alot, I am no tourney expert.
However IMHO, that is anything but standard.
Further to that, the words "train" and "wreck" slowly come together to describe it perfectly.

I understand your thinking but do you ever visit liquidpoker.net? They have some of highest cash game players making calls for thousands of dollers for there stack with jack and 8 high and winning on a daily basis, and if they were not right alot of the time dont you think they woudnt be playing at these high levels very long?
In My opinion 2 play at such high stakes you have to throw abc poker out the window.

Ok you may as well find this out now. Low stakes poker and high stakes poker are completely different.
If I tried to play like sbrugby or muckemsayuhh at 50nl I'd get murdered.
At these levels, poker is 95% abc, you just don't need to get tricky (or stupid in the case of that hand).

I can see how this play would work for you seeing as you probably would let him bluff a busted flush on the river.
I still don't know if I'm for or against this play though.
