Default Placed 2nd in MTT

Lost even stacked 77 vs KTo... man, they weigh the difference between first and second way too wide.. first was $700 more! Anyhow, he didn't want to split... so.. crappy.. I lost $700 in like 5 minutes...

On the upside though, I made my poker goal of placing 2nd or better in a MTT $10 or better. My new poker goals are to win a MTT tournament $10 or better, and to achieve an ROI of 25% or greater on the $30 SnG's after about 2000 of them.

I haven't played a tournament in a while, so this was a nice little welcome back surprise.. but I still won't be playing many tournaments.. I'm going to focus on my SnG's instead.

I also got some nice TLB points for this, which is nice.. maybe i can eventually crawl back onto the yearly TLB list

Also a shoutout thanks to scxpunk and missot who were 'watching' me nearly the entire way..

Ok, I'm done :P

Congrats, Red.

Now, don't fuck up your BR like you did last time? JK. This time, I would suggest still staying away from the $100 games when you play cash and sticking with the $50 games, <$30 Sng's, and <$30MTT's. Take a look at what Bob and I always say about BR management. Steve, generally stays away from money mangement issues.

CONGRATS, you Stud!!!!!!! If you still wanna do the Vegas trip, Orleans has daily $25 rebuy tournies and Luxor has $40 rebuys just to name a couple. I played in 7 $100+$15 single table tournies at Mandalay Bay during the day. I won one and cashed in 3 others. They're pretty fun, well structured, and very soft. They were experimenting with it at the time. This was late Nov./early Dec. I hope that they kept them.

Hard to make money getting a rakeback when no one's on the tables.

I'm actually keeping away from ring as much as possible, and sticking to SnG's.. as I suck at ring...

Nice work Kid,

(I too like the MTTs, do well(ish) in SnG and cannot get my head around how to be successful in the long haul in Ring.)
