I played in the $1 MTT on UB tonight - 1071 entered and I finished at 84 (80 paid). I probably could have coasted into the money, but went all in with 66 and was up against JJ. Oh well.

Would have loved to be able to say I monied, but that's far and away the best I've done in a MTT. I was actually in 5th place at the 1st break and got as high as 2nd after that.

I kinda thought you over-played those sixes, but the 1.60 payout wasn't really worth coasting, going for a higher finish was the right move. GG, you played much better than I (finished like 460 ish), though I think I'm playing too loose (mentally not into it), so I need to regear for these, but hey it only cost me 250 ultimate points.

WOOOO!!! good show old boy!

I agree with Puddles, pushing with 66, if you were <10bb was a good move. Play to win move.

Yeah, that was my thought as well - I was kinda hoping to take the pot pre-flop when I pushed, and was hoping that if he called I was up against two big cards. If we were deeper into the money I never would have made that move, but I wanted to try and make a big score for run at the final table.

Unfortunately I've burned most of my points, so I had to pony up a DOLLAR to play (meaning coasting into the money would have netted me .60).

While the 1.60 isnt much, neither is 66 is you have a decent stack.

Do you have the details of the hand?

Good job! How did you like playing with antes?

I had the hand grabber running, so I do have the hand on my laptop. I'm sure I probably screwed it up.
