He obviously folded, but did I overplay this you guys think? Was the raise on the river to much, should I have just flat called in this spot?
Quick background-he sat with minimum and just donked me chasing to the river for 15 BB. LA player but didn't seem to be any good after playing 35 hands with him. No other history on this guy...

I just call.
What do you beat that he calls? I cant think of anything, maybe a 10 if hes really bad. So your just putting yourself in a bad situation that 1 time he has the ace, when you get re-raised and have to make a decision.
I dont see what you have to gain by making the raise.
Nh tho, nice calls all the wayIf everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.-John Lennon

Ok, weither he has the ace of not doesnt really matter. What hand does he call that we are beating?
If he is obviously folding without a better hand, why raise? There is going to be times where he DOES have the ace, and when you re-raise he is pushing. Then you have to make a decision, and either lose more then you should have, or make what you may think is a bad laydown.
Why would you raise here? What are you expecting him to call that will get you more money. Raising here is only risking more money they you will get in return. Your not getting a call by a weaker hand.If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.-John Lennon

Yes, just call. If he's chasing you aren't getting any more out of him.
