Default patience

Just watched a video over at pokerxfactor where the guy got dealt garbage all game, but still made the $$ by being extremely patient. He folded numerous hands that i would have played, especially if i havent been in on a hand for awhile. He made the $$ in a $525 SNG just by waiting for the right time. I tried this today.....Threw out numerous hands that i generally play, but i was really never dealt anything good.... ill post my stats....this is when the game became 3 handed...... During current Hold'em session you were dealt 66 hands and saw flop:
- 3 out of 11 times while in big blind (27%)
- 1 out of 10 times while in small blind (10%)
- 3 out of 45 times in other positions (6%)
- a total of 7 out of 66 (10%)

Only played 7 hands, but tripled my stack by that time....also taking alot more notes and paying attention to what these guys are doing when im not involved in a hand. Ended up in 1st place, when i normally would have been busted playin A/T or T/J or whatever..... Hopefully i can keep the patience part of the game up....
As a side note....anyone considering pokerxfactor....it has been great.....seems to be more for SNGS and MTTS, but the videos an information is invaluable.
