Woke up this morning to see a player who yesterday dropped about 6 buy ins at my $200NL game playing $1000NL and a spare seat on his left. This seemed to good to be true so I watched for 5 minutes to check he wasn't donking around/tilting off at lower levels. No he was still playing like a donk so I sat down with $500.

1 hour later he left the game and I am sitting there with a $1000 stack.

Man I was shaking like a bitch. Had to push all in preflop with AK for $700 when this guy limp-reraised me, knowing he could call with any pair but probably had Q4. He folded.

Time for a morning beer.

And speaking of morning beers, I'm finishing up a 13 hour, 11 beer session myelf. It's morning here as well, but not as much morning as you. The sun's starting to come up. Beer and sun is always a good combo. Keep it up- the good poker, too.

No I usually play $200-$300 but started sitting in $500 games when they look juicy. This $1000 game was just too good to turn down though. This dude was all in preflop for $200 with Q6 at the $200 games.

I actually think the live players at $1000NL are worse than the live players at $200NL. I regularly see guys who play my game and are no better than me with big stacks at $1000 tables. it's just having the BR and balls to play them.
