Default Stupid, but....

This still made me feel good, better than it should.

This happened a while ago.

2/4 Limit Omaha 8/b.

beavis68:

Pre-flop:

vaxumgax folds. Dogger2000 folds. PhilHellmuth
raises to $4. Shingen calls. Stougaard calls.
A10100101001 folds. xgetlostx folds. DB Scooper
folds. beavis68 calls.

The great Phil Hellmuth raises, so I figure he has A2, he may have me totally over a barrel, but my hand is fairly strong.

Flop (board: ):

beavis68 checks. PhilHellmuth checks. Shingen
checks. Stougaard bets $2. beavis68 calls.
PhilHellmuth calls. Shingen calls.

I most likely should have folded right here.

Turn (board: ):

beavis68 checks. PhilHellmuth checks. Shingen
checks. Stougaard checks.

River (board: ):

OK, the board bricked-up. I am sure these guys are on low draws and I know Phil is going to try to steal it here.

beavis68 checks. PhilHellmuth bets $4. Shingen
folds. Stougaard folds.

Great everyone folded!

beavis68 raises to $8.
PhilHellmuth folds. beavis68 is returned $4
(uncalled).

Hand #1118502-5635 Summary:

$1.50 is raked from a pot of $33.
beavis68 wins $31.50.

Afterwords this chat happened

PhilHellmuth: Did you have it Beav?
beavis68: Sorry Champ, I don't remember.

Ok the chat is BS. But this was fun! Closest I will ever come to that silly rounders moment.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Actually, I wasn't aware of that quote when this happened, but I remembered that scene, I felt stupid for feeling so cool.

Oh yeah, I was in the BB and there was an extra BB in the pot from a guy that had just joined the table.

Still, you made an excellent read on somebody who is supposed to be one of the greatest players in the world, and you out played them

Nice play, nice read.

And this was way cooler than the rounders scene. Anybody can out bet a good player in a pot. But it takes a real player to out play them out of a pot.

Supposed? I'm sure he is one of the top in the world. He's an asshole, he's a crying bitch, but he's good.
