I dunno, I guess it was a good laydown in retrospect, aber they could have any sort of over pair or three of a kind that it would be worth calling the extra dollar, but that's just me.

*WARNING I COULD HAVE THIS TOTALLY WRONG*

Wouldn't laying this down be -EV? In such a large pot. The pot is 2.37 (about 100bb), I am not so good at the math, but I THINK it is -EV.

Of course I don't play NL. I guess in Limit I know it's a bad laydown. Yes I am parroting SSH (of course I could be wrong about it too....).

playing this hand UTG+1 and calling a pot sized bet on the turn chasing a gut shot straight on a paired board is -EV

That i understand, but the river bet would be +ev, or do we even consider that? I guess I didn't think at every stage, I went straight to river.
